Pet Loss and Grief Support
What is Pet Loss Education & Support? Pet loss education includes an understanding of (and support during) the stages of grief as well as the grief work that comes after.

End-of-life planning for pets
We plan for our own deaths and for our two-legged loved ones, why not for our pets? Just as with any other significant loss, pre-planning can help ease the emotional distress that often comes with trauma of death. Animals at Heart has end-of-life specialists that are licensed and trained to provide you with the support that you need to help prepare for the loss of your pet family member. From helping to set guidelines to know when to consider euthanization, planning and even accompanying your pet to the euthanization, to planning for the burial or cremation, our end-of-life specialists will be with you every step of the way. Pet Loss and Grief Support
Animals at Heart employs Licensed Clinical Social Workers to facilitate our grief and bereavement services for pet owners. These services include one-on-one grief counseling and pet loss and bereavement support groups twice a month.
